Calorie adjustment fitness bracelet

Hi all,
I have a Misfit Shine that I have synced with my MFP account. Today, before going to the gym, it said I had something like 300calories burnt with my Misfit. I took the bracelet off to go to the gym, 'cause I use my polar at the gym and dont want to count the calories twice.
When I got home I synced my gym workout to MFP, which was 533kcals.
Now all I have is 533kcals exercise calories. The Misfit calories have disappeared. I don't get it.

Does anyone have an explanation ? I really dont understand MFP's FAQ on the subject ... it makes no sense that it's all back to 0 cals with the Misfit.
