Macros are the Protein, carbs and fats in food. They are on the back of food packaging under "Nutritional facts". Choose foods like brown rice, chicken, fish, veggies, peanut butter, wheat bread etc etc and add up the macros to fit your caloric daily needs0

Best advice I can give is to just start logging. You will learn which foods contain a high level of calories, protein, fat, carbs, etc... Simply eating at, or just under, your calorie goal will get you weight loss. If you are looking to gain muscle or lose body fat specifically, learning what macro goals you want to meet is beneficial as well. There's definitely a learning curve! Good luck!0
