Appetite

I have kind of a dumb question.
I eat the same thing daily for breakfast, lunch & snacks to make it easier to keep track of calories. However, I am suddenly full before I have finished my meal. Does the actual stomach really shrink?

It can expand to hold a larger meal, but usually just goes back to it's usual size. Your appetite however, can adapt to eating less and then require less, to feel full.

I'm not sure of the science behind it, but your appetite definitely shrinks depending on how you are eating.
I could eat 20 bad snack foods in a day without a struggle but if I eat healthy, 1-2 snacks with 3 meals, and I am stuffed!
Most people overeat quite a bit, so this is probably what your body actually needs, you were just used to eating too much.0
