First week tracking after a long time

Started using MFP back in summer of 2012 but stopped too quickly and only started tracking again this week. I've gained a lot of weight since I was last working on losing weight and I want to lose what I've gained and keep losing down to my original goal. I've got a bit of extra motivation now - I've been engaged for about a year and my fiancé and I are talking about getting married two years from now. I want to feel beautiful in my wedding dress and be able to look back on the pictures of our special day and like how I look in them, so I'm back on MFP counting my calories and reminding myself to get my butt on the elliptical every day.
I've never posted on the forums before, so hello to everyone!
