WoW, I just looked at your food diary... and your worried about carbs. That sodium amount will kill you. over 7,000 to over 12,000 mg's a day. My advice is get off the forums and do some google searches on nutrition, healthy eating, Effects of too much sodium (heart attack/high blood pressure is gonna get you down the road at this rate). Do some reading, research and then come back if you have questions. WoW is all I can say.... speechless after looking at your food diary
High sodium isn't an issue for many unless they are predispose to high blood pressure or hypertension. Trust when I say that 5,000mg's a day is "normal" in many Asian countries to consume for one person (lots of soy sauce in many cultural foods).

hello. I'm wondering that since carbs turn into fats then I can just ignore the nutrition composition in MFP and displace some calories for fat with carb right? Since carbs will turn into fats anyway. That way our body may even uses more energy to convert one into the other. Can I do that?

Wingg that would be moving towards a Low Carb High Fat eating lifestyle that some of us find very helpful for our health in many different ways. In my case it did it to keep from taking an Rx med that carries a high risk of cancer after long term use. Losing some weight was a good bonus for trading Carb calories for Fat calories in my case. Everyone had different goals with their eating lifestyle. Most of us just experiment with different macros to find what works best for us over the long haul.

Best wishes as you do the same.

Not to burst your bubble there, but...coal is from plant material not dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs would be natural gas and oil.

Since cars run on gas and not coal (unless you're one of THOSE wackadoos) PP is still cool with his plan to use TRex in his car.

Carry on. (And, now I'm wondering about the original username. I miss all the good stuff.)

Well, none of this makes any sense, but technically it would be moving toward a higher carb lower fat "eating lifestyle."

Some people do find those helpful, though!

You are confusing dietary fat with body fat. They are not the same things.

Carbs do not turn into dietary fat. Ever. They turn into body fat when you have eaten more calories than you need.

    Eating lifestyle.

That's a new one. I think I'll keep that one over here, in the box where I store "weight loss journey."

Yes it is. Just ask someone living in China, they consume mostly carbs and look how fat that nation is, it's just common sense. :)

In the country where I'm living most people eat mostly carb and far less protein than the minimum requirement but they seems alright that's why I'm wondering.

Definitely not. You'll only get fat if you consume more calories than you need.
