Getting married in August!! Desperately need girlfriends!

I'm open to boy friends, too, It's just not the same.
I am 25 years old, living in Seattle, and engaged to be married this August. That's approx. 7 months to get into the best shape possible before I'm forced to be in a dress. I haven't been in a dress since I was 4 years old. Needless to say, I'm scared, but excited!
I'm 5'4, 245 pounds. My goal is to get down to 170 pounds by my ceremony, which is about a 70 pound loss. I just joined the Y and plan on doing lots of swimming, elliptical, and weight training. I am in the middle of reading Grain Brain and am really trying to eat as low-carb as possible. High fat. Tons of lean meats, veggies, nuts & seeds, fruit, and dark chocolate, with an occasional cheat day and of course, tons of water. Not looking to follow/support people who are extremely unhealthy in their eating and would prefer and love to find friends who eat as clean as possible to be able to relate and share recipes and ideas.
Super excited to get my butt into gear and find some awesome people to support and be able to lean on when times get tough. Because I know I will have many days like that, I just don't plan on giving up. Would love to join some Biggest Loser-type groups in order to be accountable and have fun doing this! Let me know if that's something you'd want to do with me! Oh and I'm not posting any pictures anytime soon.
