So I am the type of person that if I don't work out one day I feel that all my hard work on being healthy and fit is gone. How can I over come that thinking?

That kind of thinking is pretty common because we inwardly seek perfection and feel like a failure if we do not reach those unrealistically high goals.
Maybe you should give yourself an allowance of 6 days a month to miss working out. It is more achievable and sustainable over the long run. If you meet or achieve the goal reward yourself with a new piece of clothing.
Whatever you do, realize you're doing far more than you did pervious to starting MFP so that is an achievement in itself!0
