I don't like "fresh produce", I think it's a PITA to deal with.
My salads are sourced from all-frozen veggies. So they've always been heated up. Cold veggies are nasty, IMO. Got spinach, kale, broccoli, and peppers & onions in a bowl with sweet BBQ sauce. Got hot sauce, got bunches of meat and seasonings and olive oil and scrambled eggs with provolone cheese on top of there too. It's fantastic, it's my most substantial meal of the day.

I'd suggest you explore your frozen options, maybe you can play with what you've got and trade space. Then figure out your sauces. Dry food is bad food. But look beyond "salad dressing" - that stuff is gross, IMO. There are all these sauces that are branded as "marinades" - those can be general purpose sauces too.

So what I'm suggesting, meta-wise, is that you're not necessarily "making a salad." You're "eating vegetables" and figuring out the most enjoyable way to do that.

Maybe try getting a veggie that is either smaller or you can eat multiple different ways so you aren't bored...

A zucchini, little head of broccoli, or a bell pepper can be eaten raw and dipped, sautéed, grilled and covered in salsa, tossed in with pasta and a sauce, or added to a stir fry and they don't go bad the second day like bagged salad.

The amount of people who keep suggesting freezing things despite it has been said numerous times that freezing is not an option is comical.

I am not a big salad person, so I try to get my greens in different ways such as cooking fresh spinach into my pasta dishes or roasting other types of vegetables. I have found unless I am making green smoothies, it is not practical for me to buy bags of salad, because I will just waste them.
