I'm really trying to lose weight, the weekly scale visits are not reflecting my hard work. I'm not exercising, but I watch what I eat most of the time. It seems like I should have lost some weight in 3 weeks, due to less calorie intake. Anyone have some ideas?

Post some of your daily logs? Sometimes miscalculation can be the cause, or going Strickly on calorie consumption and not factoring in how differnt foods affect the body. People can say what they want (and on here I hear it all the time) but all calories are not created equally. If none of these are a factor, might need to see a doctor and get your thyroid tested.0

What kind of exercising are you doing? If you adding muscle mass, it does weigh more than fat. Are you drinking enough water? When you are dehydrated, your body will retain water and you will gain water weight. You should be drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day. minimum. So if you weighed 100 lbs, you should be drinking 50 oz of water.0
