I gained 7 pounds during the holidays. I am having a terrible time getting back on track. I walk 4 to 6 miles daily for exercise, but eat to many snacks in the evening. This is defeating the purpose. I have lost my willpower. Help !!!

What about eating a later dinner? We usually eat dinner around 5 but I've pushed it back an hour or so because I found myself snacking more at night.

The holidays were so bad for as well . I lost 30 pounds since May last year . But I stopped working out during the holidays couldn't run in the dark and then the holiday food I'm trying so hard to get back where I was .

I put on 6 as well. I'm angry ( at myself) but I can't go back in time and undo it, I have to undo it starting today (well started last week). The leftovers are gone but the winter weather make s getting in my normal daily activity rough. I went back to weighing every day, drinking more water and when it's not too bad out, bundling up and walking up and down my yard (if I get too cold not too far from home). Down 2. Good back to the little changes to get results :-) good luck!
  • Maybe I will try eating dinner later in the evening or maybe choosing a healthier snack, such as a piece of fruit. Thanks ! : )
