Not losing weight! Help!

Hi all,
I have changed my diet to no carb/low carb last week. I was 9st 12lb and now this morning I was 10st. Is there any reason why? Fluctuation? I was 10st a few days ago too.
Would any of you be able to look at my diary and tell me why or should I just wait! I do feel a bit more healthy and lighter but that might just be due to eating less processed foods. Also, would you look thinner before you lose weight or the other way around. Thanks!

Your diary isn't open to public view.0

Updated to public, thanks0

For someone low carb, your carb intake is quite high as is your sodium intake on some days.
I think you need to sit down and preplan your daily menu and look at your macros to see what needs adjusting before the day starts.
Decide if you want to go low carb and plan accordingly.

You don't need to go low carb to lose weight. It is also possible to gain weight on low carb if you are still eating too many cals.0

Just had a quick look, and it's not particularly low carb. Perhaps try and switch up to having salad on the side for dinner instead of chips for example, or having 1 or 2 sweets instead of more. Maybe more fruit in your diet, or reduce alcohol intake and have 1-2 glass at weekends only. Seems like you have a sweet tooth, I'd try and replace the sweet desserts with a cup of tea with sugar, or a smaller portion. You need to really try and set a calorie goal for the day and stick to it, and remember losing weight won't happen overnight, it will take time.0

Whether you low carb or not (and you're not) you are consistently logging more calories .. so in the last 5 days you're showing you've consumed 2500 calories more than your target weight loss calories
I don't know what you're set to lose but that kind of eating will put you at maintenance if it's anything less than 1lb a week
I don't see why you are surprised you're not losing weight tbh .. you're not sticking to a defecit0 -
I see you're talking about a 2lb weight gain over a week .. sodium, hormones, change in exercise0

There are various options available to lose weight like you can move towards low carbs food with proper diet plan, if you still not getting any results you can think of fat burners for quick results.0

What on earth? Did you just advise snake oil?
OP should try eating at a calorie defecit to lose weight, because she's not0 -
Thanks guys, I am just finding it really hard, I feel like I am eating low carbs from what I usually do. I usually eat alot of bread throughout the day.
I have never tried to stick to eating healthy like this before, and I find it so hard to stick to 1200-1500 calories, which is most likely why I go over.

You might be eating less carbs than you used to, but you're still consuming too many calories. Cutting carbs is not some magic way to lose weight. It will never override the need to eat at a caloric deficit. Most people who cut carbs do so because they find that it helps them resist cravings and maintain that caloric deficit.
Saying that, you're also eating a relatively high number of carbs for a low-carber as well. Please read the stickied thread at the top of this forum about calorie counting.0 -

OP, please ignore this.

I feel like some of you guys have been a bit harsh, but I thank you. That's what I need to have a wake up call and to know that I actually have to stick to a deficit.
Thank you all! Tough love is that I need!0 -

Nobody wants to be harsh with you. We know you are learning, and so, we have to point out your errors (as we see them). Everyone on here makes mistakes, and hopefully we all learn from them and can pass on some knowlege. It's hard to want to change eating habits and just spin your wheels. Remember that no one on here wants you to fail--just the opposite. Try creating a deficit, eating more veggies can help since they are lower calories--except things like potatos, which are higher. Trial and error is how we all did it. Best of luck.0 -
You can eat carbs and lose weight, as long as you're maintaining that recommended calorie deficit! Good luck!0
