Weight loss pills in general will just raise your metabolism VERY slightly and usually contain thermogenics so you sweat more which will remove some water weight. I am eating 2600 calories at the moment to try lose 1.5-2lb a week right now as I've just came off a bulk. I will not budge from this amount of calories, if I need to burn more calories I will go out and do more weight work and/or more cardio then implement the thermopure pills I have from myprotein so I burn slightly more calories but I very much doubt they burn more than 10-20 calories.

The only "assistance" I have ever tried were tablets that I bought out of the chemist (needed no prescription) to help speed up my metabolism. This was about twenty years ago.

Unfortunately, the same pills caused my heartrate to fly through the roof during my aerobic class, resulting in me having a heartbeat of 220 bpm after one exertion.

I immediately threw them away and now steer clear of any pills that are supposed to aid slimming and weightloss attempts.

Definitely research it all thoroughly OP and then make up your mind whether you still want to go ahead. Google specifically for the downfalls and side-effects of those sort of products.

Might have had a heck load of caffeine which would have raised your heart beat. I use caffeine pills and sometimes pre-workouts when I'm going to do weights but I will steer completely clear of everything if I am doing deadlifts, too much muscles at once and too intense to use any stimulants! Would be the same with cardio.

It's fiber pill. You can get those at the store for MUCH less. But really, if you're not going to take the pills for life, then why start? Because on average, people will regain when they stop. Change the lifestyle and don't just address a symptom.

Good point re the Caffeine actually, I wish I could remember what they were called, but it was so long ago now, no hope recalling.
