will walking 5 miles a day on treadmill help to lose belly fat?

    you will lose weight. You will get rid of fat it will come off of all over your body not just your belly. Good Luck on your journey

    In theory, if you eat right and lose weight you'll lose fat from all over your body.

    I would recommend also doing some ab toning exercises too if possible, which will help tighten your belly and make it look smaller and flatter :-)

    If and only if by walking 5 miles/day your calories in < calories out. Then you will lose fat, and some percentage of that fat will come from your tummy.

    You can't spot reduce meaning you can't choose where you lose fat. Walking on the treadmill is a good form of exercise but to lose fat, you only need to eat at a calorie deficit. The treadmill is a great way to help you burn more calories so you can eat more and still lose weight though.
