what to do with exercise calories??

When FitBit syncs and I log my exercise, I gain more calories in my count for the day. Should one eat back those calories or just leave them as a deficit? I am not sure if it would say I wasn't consuming enough in a day if I did nothing with them. Some days I receive 600 calories from my exercise.
Thanks for helping!

Fitbit is fairly good with estimating exercise calories, so I feel pretty good about eating most of mine back. I do leave a small buffer because fitbit will project to the end of the day based on the day's expenditure and your habits, and I find that 90% of the time its an overestimate for me, leaving me looking back on the day and seeing it reduced. A 50 calorie buffer is usually adequate for me.0

I agree with everything said in here. While a bit lengthy, it is one of the best explanations I've seen thus far- its really about deciding on a certain deficit and sticking with it. The only thing the piece falls short on is the standard warning to be careful in your estimate of calorie burn.0
