CLEAN EATING CHALLENGE!

I am starting training for a marathon and I want to get the most out of training and use my training as my weightloss program right now. I trained for a half marathon and lost 3 sizes and I did not eat healthy so I want to try to eat completely clean while training (and hopefully make this a lifestyle change for myself!) so I can look great and reach my goals by the time the marathon comes.
Is anyone else interested in trying clean eating with me?! I am going to read the Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno. She is awesome! Let me know if you'd be interested in doing this challenge with me and we can keep each other accountable and share recipes and such!!!

Hi! I'd be happy to do that. I've already started that route--i'm not 100% by any means, but getting there! I just started my "journey" here; I'm not up for a marathon, but I do plan to run a couple 5 Ks this year--maybe even fit in a 10K.
Also, there is a magazine called "Clean Eating" that is GREAT. Tosca Reno contributes to it. I just did a week of their low budget healthy dinners, and they ROCKED! And I can tell you: I am usually quite a ho-hum cook!

I'm in! I've got Tosca's books. It totally works and I'm finding that if I don't eat the processed foods, then I don't have the intense food cravings. I still have to rewire my brain to not eat when I'm stressed, that's a 25 year bad habit that's going to take a long time to rewire. That's another issue!
