I am training for a marathon and have one day of week that I will get up to running 24 miles. How should I handle the deficit since I'm not going to eat that many calories in a day. Just maintaining making sure I'm getting the right of everything.

I listen to my body. Am I hungry? Great, I'll eat. I try to eat well too, not just junk calories. I have found it's more beneficial to listen to my body's needs than worry about say, eating 1000 extra calories or whatever.
BTW is this your first marathon? 24 miles is quite a bit for a long run for your training plan! Good luck.0
