fitbit users; is there a way to add miles?

I went on a 50 minute 4 mile jog today. My fitbit was charging during the run so I wasn't wearing it. I added the exercise to myfitnesspal and added the calories my heart rate monitor said I burned.
While it did add the minutes of exercise to my fitbit, it did not add the miles. Fitbit is now taking calories away from me on myfitnesspal because it says I am not moving enough. Which to it, I'm not considering it was on the charger the majority of my day so I have no miles and barely 3000 steps.
Is there a way to go in and manually enter the mileage? The negative calorie thing is confusing me, because while fitbit is thinking I was a lazy butt today; I really wasn't.
thanks.

The calories part should work itself out. Say your run was from 1pm-1:50pm. You logged it on MFP. So MFP should show the calorie burn from MFP and will NOT use the Fitbit data from 1:00-1:50pm. (Which would be just BMR.)
If you log it as a run thru Fitbit it MIGHT show steps/miles but I'm not sure.0 -
I just tested - adding a 20 minute walk for 150 calories here - and synced my Fitbit. It immediately saw the 'activity' and adjusted for calories burned on my Fitbit. So for what you've done, your calories should all be accounted for. Just not the distance.0

You can add the run into the Fitbit and remove it from MFP. Doing it this way will give you the steps in the Fitbit and the calories in MFP. I always log all of my exercise in my Fitbit and let it give me extra calories. I prefer to have the steps logged accurately.0
