I have my MFP linked to my fitbit. and I noticed today that MFP is upping my calorie goal to adjust to my exercise, I don't want that because I don't want to eat back my calories. Can anyone tell me if there is a way or a setting that I can change to stop that? I like using my fitbit, and I like having my stuff linked, but I don't want to have to do the math every time I look at MFP and figure out how many calories I actually do have left.

Any time you add exercise calories, it's going to up the goal. Has nothing to do with the fitbit. That's just how mfp works.

ok, good to know, I don't add it, but my fitbit syncs to it, so it adds it I guess. Sucks I wanted to have them linked but I guess I'll have to keep them separate. Thank you!

I have them linked. You don't HAVE to eat back your calories at all. Figuring out how many calories you have left is easy if your goal is the same amount every day -

This! I often have a lot of calories left over, and that's because I ignore my FitBit adjustments for the most part. However now that I have the Charge HR some of those calories have been earned through my workouts and not just steps. I try to stay between 1240 and 1400 regardless.
