Hi everyone!

I have very recently started my weight loss journey, and could use some help. If you have any tips, suggestions, motivation, etc. I would love to hear it!

Thanks <3

I tell myself that for every mile I run, I'll lose a millimeter off my thighs and tummy :)

There is only one thing you need to know - Persistence. If you figure that out, you will absolutely succeed at EVERYTHING.

sign up for a race. i find that having a race is a great way to really test yourself and give your work outs more purpose.

Focus on developing healthy habits...motivation is something that comes and goes...you will never be motivated 100% of the time...it's those times when habit takes over

I also strongly agree with Capt_Apollo...putting a purpose behind my exercise and taking them from simply "working out" to actually training was the best thing I ever did. It also helps with those, "how much of X should I be doing" or "is this enough" type of questions that are inevitable when you're new to fitness.

Log all of your food every day, even if you are over your calorie goal! It really helps to see how much you are really eating.

Can I add the word patience in.....if you develop this along with persistence....the results can be amazing.
