Couch potato

It's not that i only love being at home doing nothing, i am always about but still mostly sit everywhere ;D
So while i do love being a couch potato, i decided that i've had enough of it.
I do wish to get in better shape and form, get healthier as a bonus aaand most importantly - become even more happy with myself
I am definitely focusing more on the body shape, strength and tightness [of course, losing those couple undesirable kilos along the way].
Tomorrow will be one week since i started going to the gym; i used to try going couple of times when i was younger but never more than couple of months and without any obvious results. This time i've taken it seriously, using gym strength exercise devices for the first time ever, as well as more serious weights, bench and so on.
I've also cleaned my diet as much as possible [as i am able at this point] and for the first time included protein smoothies, snacks, meals and so on.
I've been using MyFitnessPal for about a week as well and it has already helped me loads [even though living in a country like mine does present a problem in tracking calories in food and stuff, mainly cos there is no local items listed in the library, but i've been giving my best ], i am sooo happy with it
I apologize if i've been too detailed but really looking forward to meeting you guys
