PCOS'ers with 300+ pounds to lose

I'm wanting to start up a support network for women with PCOS who have more than 300lbs to lose.

My story is that I'm 26, married living in the UK.

I was diagnosed with PCOS 9 years ago and since the. I've battled with my GP and my weight. My Doctor refused to help me as I wasn't trying to get pregnant and I kept getting the same brush off. Time and time again I was told to go away and lose weight. It was almost like they had no idea what it was like.

I'm now taking 1000mg of Metformin to aid with my insulin resistance and I'm hoping to increase that next month.

My goals for this month are to prove to my doctor that just because I'm not trying to get pregnant, I do deserve the help and support and I am worthy of their time and attention.

Most importantly though I'm wanting to kick my own *kitten* and get some exercise done and some weight off.

Who's with me??
