hi ive been logging for a few days and i have have concistantly eating 50percent less iron than i should be what foods could i eat to up my iron :)

    Fortified cereal is the easiest if you don't eat much red meat (I don't tend to eat any other than in pepperonis when I squeeze pizza into my day). You just have to look on the nutrition facts and see. I personally eat Cheerios. Without milk or other add-ons it already has 45% DV of iron.

    Lots of foods on MFP (those with an asterisk) are entered by users; not everybody enter complete nutritional profile of foods into database. Check items against USDA database before you worry too much :)

    The only days I get enough iron are those when I eat frosted mini wheats.
