Hello, I'm new to the site. I'm trying to loss weight. I'm currently 210, I was at 237 in December. I'm 5'4". I have lost some weight, but I felt I could do a better job of it if I kept count of what I ate and how much I move.
I know I've got a ways to go, but I just need to keep working on it, just some days it's hard to stay motivated. I would like to find some friends to support me on my journey.
My hubby pretty much doesn't worry about what he eats, he says he moves enough to burn it off. My kids can eat anything and burn it off, but I want them to learn to eat healthier, so it doesn't catch up to them, I used to be like them, but after giving birth to 3 kids, I gained weight like crazy. I now have 2 teens and a pre-teen, where did the time go?
I am really happy I lost the first 27 pounds and am looking forward to losing more.

Kimi, it's amazing how they can eat, and never put one a pound. My mom must have felt the same about me. I weighed all of 110 pound all through high school, and in my 20s was only 124. After I had my kids, that was it, BOOM, I got heavy.
To be honest I was scared to exercise after having my kids, all of them were C-section, and I was always scared I'd tear it open.
I would love to know how people stay so motivated. The eating I'm pretty good with. I just have a hard time getting myself to exercise.0
