Time to Get Serious!

Hello! I've been using the MFP app for my phone for a while to track my calories, but only recently started using the website. I tripped over the forums and am happy to see a lot of people motivated to make changes and support each other!

I initially started tracking calories because I realized I was gaining weight after changing jobs -- I gained 15 lbs in my first year at my new job, partly because I was on the road and eating out a lot. I was able to lose a little bit of weight by just being conscious of what I was eating and logging in addition to my regular workouts. Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle about 2 months ago and fell off the workout wagon--I gained 5 lbs and that was a wake-up last week when I had a weigh-in at the doc's. I'm rededicating myself to it as of 1 June, and getting back into the swing of things.
