Hello, my name is Sherry, and long story short, I went from very active mommy that was loving life to an injured, depressed, overweight woman.

I busted my leg up bad and couldn't walk for a year then suffered a back injury. I am limited as to what I can do or I end up back in PT. I have gotten discouraged and made excuses and I'm tired of living like this.

I hope to dance with my boys at their weddings and run and play with grandkids someday. I have goals and need help achieving them, so I welcome any helpful hints and encouragement. Thank you.

As long as you eat under your calorie goal you can lose the weight. Exercise speeds it up, but I have problems with my back, hips, and knees. I've managed to lose 11lbs so far since the start of January just from a change in calorie intake.

I've heard people here on MFP say; Diet to lose weight - Exercise to get fit.
  • Thank you. I'm still trying to learn how this all (MFP) works, but am hopeful! 11 lbs is awesome! Way to go!
