Scale recommendation?

I'm sure this has been asked before but does anybody have any scale recommendations? I've been doing my fitness pal often on for about three years. I have a food scale but it's not very accurate. I'd like to purchase a digital gram scale. Preferably off Amazon since I have prime.
I started over again in January and I've been losing 1 pound a week which is fine. But according to my estimations I'm eating and exercising at a rate that I should be losing 2. I figured if I weighed more accurately I'd get a better understanding of what's going on.

I use the OXO Good Grips 5-Pound Food Scale with Pull-Out Display (I know Amazon has it). I bought mine at a department store and had a problem with it. I returned it to the store for an easy no-hassle replacement.
GLAD I DID... because this scale has been "fantastic". I'd buy it again. I use it every day at every meal. I weigh 99% of everything I eat. Love the conversion to grams. It is very accurate. It makes it real easy to calculate when you want to make your own "serving size" instead of eating more than you want. SEE reviews on Amazon as well.
I would never be without my scale for more than 1 day -- it is now a lifetime habit and not remotely as time consuming as some people seem to think.
Using a scale makes it so easy to create diversified meals. This was my breakfast today...
Good luck.

I got mine at CVS. One of their $20 glass bathroom scales. Works well, and weighs down to the decimal!
Edit: Oops, didn't realize this was a food scale thread. I got mine at Walmart; one of the Taylor Biggest Loser branded ones. It has both an ounce and grams option, and tares off the container as well. I got it almost a year ago, and my original batteries just ran out two days ago. Really great scale. I can't remember how much I paid exactly, but it was around $25 or less.0 -
My daughter picked out this one for me for Christmas. I LOVE it...simple to use and much better than the one I had before. Very sensitive...in a good way. http://www.amazon.com/Taylor-3842-Digital-Food-Scale/dp/B00BDS2X2G0

This is the exact one I have, minus mine having the official branding. Looks like I could have gotten it slightly cheaper outside of the store! Seconding how awesome it is, and has a very simple interface to work with.0 -
Honestly if your just using it to weigh food out doesn't really matter what kind you buy. just get a basic digital scale that reads grams and ounces and your good to go. I got one at target for under 20 bucks in the spring I use it daily and I still haven't needed to change the batteries.0

Yes, my daughter has good taste in food scales for a 12 year old, lol. She saw me getting frustrated with my other one all the time. Her grandma took her Christmas shopping for me, and she picked this out all on her own. Most useful Christmas gift I got this year, right next to my Ninja which she also picked out.

Thanks! That one from Amazon looks perfect. I really wanted to make sure it tares. Much appreciated.0
