Quick Talapia Recipe
I don't really eat fish but the wife convinced me to give it a try. I found this at allrecipies.com. It was simple, quick, and came out GREAT. I would absolutely do this again. The amounts of the original recipe were adjusted for the 9oz of fish that I had, which was two filets. I also grilled it on my grill over medium heat about 5 minutes on each side.
1/4 cup and 1 teaspoon honey
1/4 cup and 1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup and 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon and 1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
3 (3 ounce) fillets tilapia
cooking spray
1-1/2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
1.Mix the honey, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and garlic together in a bowl. Place the tilapia fillets in the mixture; allow to marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
2.Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
3.Remove tilapia from marinade, and discard the marinade. Place fillets into the prepared baking sheet, and sprinkle the black pepper over the fish.
4.Bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, 15 to 20 minutes.
