Have to tighten up the calorie count. I need to lose 16.5 lbs. It is not going to come off unless I am strict with my calories.

What are you current stats? Calorie goal? Intake? Output? How are you determining intake and output?

If you'd like to open your diary, you can get better advice instead of generalities.

Enough for what? Are you trying to bulk? Trying to lose? How consistent are you in logging EVERYTHING? Do you have those stupid "cheat days" or whatever? What are your goals and expectations? Your question is incredibly vague....

How sure are you about the starting weight? How often did you weigh during the month and with what results? Did you weigh at the same time and under the same conditions and on the same scale? If it's only 2 weigh-ins it's possible to get a result like that and have it not mean much, especially if you are using different scales or different times of day.

If you are confident that both those weights are representative, then you are eating above maintenance, so either your calorie goal is wrong or you aren't logging accurately (which is what people can check for and give tips for if they see your diary, although it also requires that you are logging everything, as only you know).

Eating more than you should, poor logging (meaning eating more than you should), or water weight retention.

I usually weigh 2x a week. Same result almost think the scale's broken . Lol but i have actually lost 2 and then gained 5. I log like ocd. My plan is like this: logg your menu, set food aside night before no cheat necessary cause there is a whole group of food to pick from.

Do you use a food scale because your logging is wonky. Apples that weigh the exact same and you are using scoops to measure your protein powder. You have missing meals and quick add calories.

I had missing meals sine i don't eat them. But what do you use to measure shakes? The quick add was cause i couldn't find the exact entry.

Do you use a food scale? Based on your food diary, I would assume probably not.

Someone post that video about the oatmeal and weighing vs. measuring cups, I have no idea how to imbed videos with BBCode.

It's really worth investing in a food scale to accurately log and stay within a calorie deficit.

You can weigh those scoops too. It will say on the nutrition label the weight of the scoop in grams.

It's also way easier to say, put your bagel on a food scale when applying cream cheese than to put the cream cheese in measuring cups and then have to scrape it out (not fun, and also not accurate).

You use the weight of ingredients.... If you are not weighing food and using weighted entries, this further shows that your logging is inaccurate.

Eating less seems to work for ... I dunno ... the rest of humanity, right?
