How long did it take your body to adjust?

I think my main problem with deciding to change my diet and fitness levels is that period of unpleasantness when you first begin. Even if I do something simple like swap chocolate snacks for fruit/veg, I get tired and bloated, and it really makes it hard to stay motivated. Usually I end up thinking that I'm tired because of the sudden decrease of sugar in my diet, then eat something really sugary then end up giving up. I suppose it might help me to know if any of you had the same thing and how long it took to start feeling good.

If you don't feel so great you might want to consider working with a doctor to help you set healthy and realistic goals based on your personal needs.0
