jesiann I had too laugh! Our wind chill with 8 degrees was 10 below 0 the news said. tomorrow we are expecting 6-8 inches of SNOW (and no I am not happy about it! ) and IF we don't get as much snow as they think then that will be bad because it will be ICE. I would rather have the snow!
Undecided. I don't have anyone too walk with either other than my doggies and sometimes my husband when he is off work. I do love camping in state parks. One is close too us so when we go camping husband walks with me almost every walk unless he's fishing. I love taking my girls (doggies) as they love too walk. In warmer weather my husband drops me off around 5 miles away (on his way too work) and I walk back home. Then late evening I walk the girls a couple of miles. Right now I am lucky too get in 3 miles. The rest of the week I doubt I will get any outside walking as there will be the snow issue as well as very cold weather. It is a shame we don't live close together. We could become walking buddies. Seems like we have the same problem. No one too walk with.

RATS! I got so busy chit chatting I forgot too add my exercise Bike. Actually I did 3 miles late last night I did not log AND I have done 4.1 miles this evening...
Everyone keep your fingers crossed. My Exercise bike has started making a funny noise! I hope the bearings are not going out. I had that happen a few years ago and it had too be worked on...ughhhhhhhh

jesiann I forgot too answer about generators. We have a small one in our RV that can be used too keep the Freezer going if we need too. We also have a Kerosene heater and a small propane heater for heat. It is sleeting here today. The ground is covered. Temp has risen some. We need at least 3 more degrees for it too start melting. We have not got any of the snow they were calling for. I have used my Exercise Bike. 6.7 miles this morning...

YES, jesiann, it is still quite icy on this mountain. With temps low tonight, even lower wed and Thurs I don't see it getting out of here anytime soon but the roads have been salted so things are better in that area. Our back road will still be a bit icy but husband made it too work. PRAISE GOD!

Howdy Ladies & Gents! Well, this chic is back on the wagon. Mileage and logging were MUCH better yesterday. Yeah, holiday weekends tend to play havoc with my discipline... Please be careful in your neck of the woods. It's crazy cold here at 30°! Well, crazy cold for me anyway. Some of you must have a bit of polar bear in you to survive your world! HA!

yes mommarob it IS really COLD outside! I managed 7.5 Miles on my exercise Bike. also 20 minutes of mild stretching as well as several house chores and cooking meals for my husband who is off work today so exercise Bike and stretching are all I have done...

jesiann we had ICE on top of the 1 1/2 inches of snow yesterday. No one is going anywhere today. Husband had too work today so he stayed over in the Big city last night where he works. You should have seen my little girls when I let them out too potty. The smallest dog weighing only 10 pounds did not break thru the snow/ice. My 17 pound dog did. Freaked her out! She will be 8 yrs old end April. Never have we had Ice on top of snow. she would walk and then break thru. Ran back too the steps almost frightened too death. I call her my scaredy dog...lol She is frightened of many things...
Hope too get some TM and EX bike time in today......0
