hi all, this is day 27 for me, I've lost about 7lb (I think, my scales were broke so not 100%) I work out 3-4 days a week for 1hr plus at the gym and do 40-60 sit ups most nights! I eat soooo much better than I did, drink lots more water than I ever did and I'm now stuck at 13st!!! I'm gutted and I don't want to give up I want this so bad but I'm really disheartened, any advise??? X

7 lbs over a 4 week period is great. Not sure why you would be unhappy with that?

If you opened up your diary it would be a little easier to point you in the right direction. However, maybe this is your plateau. I would suggest mixing up your training...possibly some HIIT. Do you update your calorie intake based on your progress? Maybe your nutrition is off. Just play around with different activities until you find what will bust through. And keep pushing, if it was easy everyone would do it :)

I have to agree with the statement above. If you lose a pound a week, you are doing excellent. You don't want to lose quicker than that because you'll likely be losing muscle mass too. Regardless, you should continue what you are doing and keep counting your calories too.
  • You can't give up. I am just starting as well (Dec 1st) so it is still new and frustrating for me as well. You can't expect to lose more weight than that per month, it would be pseudo-weightloss and it wouldn't stay off. I don't call this a diet, it is a nutrition/health quest and once I lose my weight, I will continue to eat whole healthy foods. It will probably take me about a year (need to lose about 70 lbs) but I don't want to lose it so fast that it isn't healthy, kind of defeats the purpose of the everything. So, stick with it girl, you are doing everything right!

Yep, especially one month in. The big drop was probably due to water weight. Now you're going to start stabilizing, and as long as your intake is accurate, you will be losing in smaller and slower numbers.
