Heart Rate Monitors

My husband and I started a 60 day challenge between the two of us to see who could have the higher percentage of weight loss. Well I am going to visit my parents for 4 weeks during the challenge (which started 2 days ago) and I was thinking about getting a Heart Rate Monitor since I will be away from a gym and having to do workouts on my own...i.e. walking, videos, more walking, dancing. I've read alot about the Polar Ft4 and it seems to be pretty popular and nicely priced. I wanted to come here to see if anyone has any other suggestions or uses a heart rate monitor. I want to keep the price around $70.
So let me know if you have the Polar FT 4 and what you think or if you recommend another brand/kind!
Thanks!

You don't need a HR monitor to workout. Use the $70 for food instead.0
