Hi, I'm 7 months pregnant and looking for alternatives for the crunches and burpees in my circuit training routine. Any suggestions??

Hi! I was just wondering if you have heard of Diastasis Recti? Now might be a good time to research and decide whether or not it is a good idea for you to continue ab isolation exercises for the remainder of your pregnancy. Ab exercises are technically safe, however there is some good info out about what exercises are best to avoid. I will be honest, I have refrained from doing any ab isolation exercises over the past 7 months ( I am also 7 months pregnant) and am still seeing my abs either way. Other movements you do such as squats and whatnot continue to keep your core strong. So, I wouldn't be too hard on yourself for slowing down in that area for the next few months until the baby arrives. I'm sure that you have maintained a decent amount of strength up unto this point. A few months probably wont make too much of a difference0
