So it feels like I'm constantly getting started. I do something, see progress, then just stop for one reason or another. I used to fear the gym and this place was ideal as there are a lot of home routines and whatnot.

However, decided to travel outside of my box, get my first gym membership and all that good stuff. for someone who's never even been on a treadmill in her whole life, you can imagine the confusion. xD

Make sure your gym gives you an initial physical assessment which also includes a basic program and instruction on all the equipment you are to use. It is also helpful to have a few personal training sessions at the beginning to get you started and give you the motivation to keep going. Once you become proficient at using the equipment and go regularly you will enjoy the high you get after a great session.
