This is my second time using fitness pal, the first time I failed because I wasn't losing weight like I thought I would (I thought I could lose it really quickly), guess I'm a bit impatient lol. So I'm thinking if maybe I could get a bunch of people on my friends list it will help motivate me more and make me realize that my extremely quick weight lost expectations aren't natural.... So everybody please feel free to add me

Well welcome Back :) So glad you're back!
A friends list with some ppl that keep you inspired and on target can help immensely. Motivation comes from within, we have to dig deep inside for that but it certainly can be done and it is every single day on here!

Another tip is pre-planning your meals...that helps me so much when I do that. The times I don't... not so much. :# Even if I get my breakfast planned M-Su it makes me feel like I'm starting out each morning in control. Even when you've been here awhile going back to baby steps is never a bad thing and can actually help.

  • Thank you, I'm glad to be back. I am definitely going to do everything I can this time to stick to it and be motivated.
I'm not used to watching what I eat or drink, so thank u for the tip of pre-planning :) baby steps is we're I'm at right now till I get the hang of watching what I eat and exercising

I left MFP for a while too and came back and started over again 2 years ago. Have had a lot of ups and downs since returning, but I feel as if things may be the best they ever have been for me with my training regimen. I've been back at it for a little over a month after having a back injury on my last job. Managed to go from being critically depressed and feeling the lowest i've ever felt to the most motivated i've ever been. Looking to spread the motivation to those who also fight these same demons or just simply need a good supportive network around them.
