I'm just starting my 2015 "get with the program" push, and I'm also new here. I came from another similar website, but this one has way easier food tracking options, and making things easier is helpful, because I lack motivation. I've put on more weight this past winter (I live in Vermont, so that means over the past 6 months) than ever before, and I'm just NOT feeling up to this task. So, I found a NEW fitness tracking website (here!) and I'm seriously considering purchasing a fitness tracker. I've been in Amazon comparing features and reading reviews for days, and I keep asking myself "Do you need this in order to get this done?" and I think "yes, probably", and then I ask myself "But do you Really NEED this?" and I have to admit, it might really make a difference. There's one that has a feature that beeps when you've been inactive for too long, and gives you a red bar to show when you're running out of "lazy time" and need to take a stand up and walk around break. But there's so many to choose from! Do you have a fitness tracker? Do you NEED your fitness tracker? What kind do you have, and what features do you use most on it, if you have one? Do you have a Jawbone? A Vivofit? A Polar Loop? A Fitbit?
