Did my stomach shrink or what?!

Not too long ago I was having a really hard time sticking to my calorie budget. Like my cravings were so bad I could only count for a day before screwing up and bingeing on all kinds of junk food that would derail my progress a week or maybe more. I even kept upping my calories from 1800 then to 2000 then I decided "I can do this on a smaller deficit" and went all the way to 2300 and couldn't even stick to that.

Then out of nowhere I started eating at 1500 calories and stuck to it for a few days despite how much I wanted junk food and there were no more cravings. At all really. I didn't really even feel that hungry when I would eat. Now I'm actually stuffed on 1500 calories whereas before I would have that in a single meal.

I used to think people were crazy that said they now get full on way less calories cause really. How did you get fat in the first place? But now I feel it. It's weird. I don't even eat clean. I eat all the same crappy prepackaged foods I used to. I just get full easier. And I'm happy cause now I feel like this time I'm actually gonna stick to it. I've never felt like this before. It's like something clicked

I don't think your stomach actually shrinks, but rather you get used to eating less. The same happened to me. I was starving thr first week or two, and now I'm satisfied on my 1200 calorie per day diet on most days.
