HELLO TO EVERYONE

I am a 36 year old mother to 3 wonderful children, 1 great husband (lol) and a full time 911 dispatcher. I have tried numerous diets and fad diets to loose the weight and I have failed at every single one of them. A few weeks ago my 4 year old was laying in bed with me and she asked me if I would stop smoking because she didn't want me to die. That same week my middle child had a "parents read to children day" at school and she wanted me to go. I couldn't go because I didn't want to embarrass her. So her grandma went (my mom). Last year I went to muffins with mom day at school and she came home and told me that a couple kids made fun of her because her mommy was "fat" . Right then and there I decided it was time for a lifestyle change I had to do something for myself as well as for my children. I decided if I was going to do this I would go all out and get it all over at once. I quit cold turkey (day 30 with no smoking) and joined this page. Im hoping to start small 10 lbs at a time but my overall goal is 100+ lbs... So here is to a new year along with a new journey. Good luck to anyone taking this journey "WE GOT THIS"

    Hey just reading your write up and well done on quitting smoking and joining my fitness pal :-) I also want to lose a lot of weight, add me as a friend if you like I'm not sure how you do it lol! Becky :-)
