Working away from home

I'm working away from home in Spain next week and I don't want to damage the progress I have made so far. The hotel has a gym, but also a restaurant and a bar which could be a problem due to the others that I am working with.

Any advice to limit damage?

    Hey there,
I vote for enjoying spain(working or not)! Enjoyment can also involve moderation, maybe if you plan on going out for a meal with others on an evening then being mindful of what you're eating the meals before it is a good idea. That way, you aren't likely to go too far amiss!

That being said, a week or so away and a little ocassional over-indulgence isn't going to damage great progress and being healthy is an all-round thing, body and mind! Try not to worry too much, be mindful of what you consume but enjoy them too!

Wishing you all the best, enjoy Spain!

    You can handle this.
Make choices at the restaurant that fit into your calorie goal -- grilled, baked . . . .
    Limit breads, fried, and sauces.
At the bar, take things slowly.
Feel that you are following your own plan that you set for yourself -- even if your plan involves a little more calories than you would have at home.
