strength training...where to begin??

I have a treadmill (doing C25K) and started doing Insanity (like doing the 2nd video today). Is this enough to build strength? I have a weight bench, but don't know where to begin with it or what to try to do with it or how often. I am not looking to bulk up, but just want to have some strength and look better but don't want to overdo it. Any suggestions?

Insanity is a comprehensive program. I’d stick with that and not add anything else. More is not always more. Your body needs time to rest/repair/restore. Instead, focus on the intensity of what the program has to offer. You’ll get the best results that way.0
