As a personal trainer and fitness fanatic I use my fitness pal to keep and eye on my macros and total kcal consumption.
I eat healthy 90% of the time And I lift heavy, in large compound moves which always include some Olympic lifts and kettlebells.
I train Monday's and Thursday and occasionally a Sunday, I teach spinning on Tuesday and Fridays and a couple of other classes dotted about the week. I am a mum of a crazy 3 year old boy and my hubby works away for two weeks at a time. Diet is is do very important especially as I don't train as often as I would like.
I gained 5st throu a horrible pregnancy but have list it all. I'm stronger than I ever have been. 1rm dead - 110kg, 1rm chest press 60k, 1rm power snatch 40k. I don't squat, or lunge as have horrendous knees.
I haven't always eaten clean, in fact quite the opposite. Life as a swimmer back in the 80's and 90's meant I could eat anything and everything. For a year now my diet has been so much better and planning for each week has helped me endlessly. I feel fitter, healthier and energised for the day.
