I was wondering do u have to eat back calories after do weight lifting?

I never did because I have no idea how many calories it burns.
But I switched to TDEE pretty fast so it was taken into account that way.0 -

You want a slight surplus if you're trying to gain muscle (usually around .5lb/week gain), so I won't be eating mine back when I start.0

It depends if you're in a calorie surplus or a deficit. If you're in a surplus then u eat more. Deficit either let the cal burned equal your deficit and eat at maintenance or for accelerated loss use the cal burned as an addition to your deficit As said above its difficult to know exactly that's when your monitoring comes into play. If you're paying attention to your body then u should be able to figure it out over time0
