One month using the app.

Hi! I'm Yanmi. And I have been using this app for one month now. With good diet, exercise and this app I have lost 6.5lbs this month! Which I'm super excited about. I was told I was getting into the high and at risk of health conditions because I had too much body fat. Which has been my driving force to lose some weight. 25-30lbs would be great!
I've cut out excess sugar (cookies, candy) and greasy fatty foods (pizza, fries, hamburgers, fast foods in general) and try not to eat out because I never know all the nutritional info. But now I've been craving it all. I feel I cut too many things out of my diet, but too nervous to eat anything as I don't want to gain the weight I'm losing.
It's a struggle sometimes to say the least. But I'm glad I finally started and grateful for this app.

Good job yanmi! When I'm at restaurants I order off the light menu. If they don't have on MFP usually gas the calories of meals from popular resutrants. And if you crave something, eat it. Just eat in moderation or eat it during a cheat day.0

Thanks! Trying the make lifestyle changes. I'm a eater out of boredom, which is usually when my cravings are happening so I'm not trying to feed into them.
Haven't had a cheat day, how often do you have one?0 -
Once a week cheat day, and I go hard. Sometimes I don't even log that day. But 1 cheat day hasn't hurt my at all.0

Don't deny yourself the foods you are craving, you will be more likely throw in the towel and quit if you do that. If your craving something, make room in your daily calories for it. Or do an extra hard workout to burn calories to give you more calories to fit a little treat for yourself in for the day.0
