Was rollerblading down a mountain road once and my brake malfunctioned throwing feet over head and then onto my left side sliding down the road at 35 mph leaving all sorts of flesh on the road... I had stuff embedded in my skin from my calf to my shoulder (glad I had my safety gear on) My left cheek got tore up pretty bad... glad I had lots of padding back there to spare!

Thank goodness you had lots of padding and safety gear on!
My mom still has gravel embedded in her skin from an accident she had in 1993. It's fascinating how the human body will heal.0 -

Too right NJ!
What is the highest you have ever climbed unaided by anyone else?0 -
I am afraid of heights. I do not climb. And after my injuries, I'm afraid I'll never be able to ever try.0

@NJGamerChick sorry to learn of your fall but even moreso how it has affected you
Have you ever gone hunting, and if so, for what?0
