Awesome, I just bought this app (shoutbox workout timer) was $1.19 or something, whatever. I think this will help a lot with my intervals on the bag! thanks!0

You can also use the C25K app on a heavy bag. Just replace "walk" with light shadow boxing and "run" with hard and heavy bag work. It will destroy you.

Hitting a bag bare-handed has its merit though. I wouldn't do it all the time but it will keep you "honest" about your striking abilities.
When you're on the street and someone tries to attack you, you don't have the benefit of wraps and gloves so it's good to be comfortable striking without them.0 -

That's a really good point. Unfortunately in a corporate environment having shredded and bruised knuckles draws attention. LOL0 -

LOL! Since I lost some weight I got very pointy knuckles anyway. Well.. I tend to live in towns that are generally save anyway for some reason. Like accidentally-leave-your-car-unlocked-for-24-hours-and-nothing-happens save.0
