Old cardio routine not cutting it? Still a beginner.

So I have been extremely active over the last 13 months, from sedentry to 3-5 days of intensity, and today I was just goofing around with my 2 year old and we roughhoused for a good half an hour, and I noticed i could still go for so much more, I used to get so tired and sweaty before, like weeks ago, but she was totally done for and I had barely broke a sweat. I have noticed this with my regular cardio routine too. Does this just mean that I am stronger? That I should up my intensity? What do you guys do? I bike, run, cycle, do intervals but only have about an hour a day to do anything with. I don't have a gym membership, so what more could I do? Thanks for the advice guys.

I find tracking my heart rate to be helpful, including resting heart rate. Over time a certain activity at a certain level becomes easier and it takes longer to get my heart rate up to a target level and have to exert a little more to get there. The resting heart rate is helpful to tell me if I am overdoing it.

See if you can take on two 2 year olds at once.
