Small but high sugar breakfast

Ok, first post here probably too late since I hit my weight loss goal of 42 pounds on Sunday (yay!) and i'm now onto maintenance (but still just as OCD about staying within calories as ever), however I've been following these forums for a while and they really helped keep me motivated during the closing stages, so thanks for that.
Ok, to the question (with some optional bg info): basically going to my dad's tomorrow, often end up having chicken and chips for tea and ice cream for dessert (I go once a week, it's always my treat, don't judge ). The chicken and chips ends up 1k calories, Ice Cream about 180, and I also have a protein shake (about 220), this pretty much uses my 1.5k first week calorie maintenance goal. Basically, i can't afford much for breakfast with the calories remaining.
TL;DR QUESTION HERE
Ok FINALLY, the question: Will eating a 90 cal, (highish) sugar banana mini loaf in the morning be better or worse for my hunger throughout the day? I heard high sugar in the morning spikes insulin or some scientific thing, and actually only makes you HUNGRIER afterwards, so do i skip the banana loaf due to it making me hungrier throughout the day, or will it be ok? Remember this is all i'll be eating till around 6pm (which i'm cool with, so don't lecture me). Thanks for any replies.

Yeah, that.
And it's all good if that's all you're eating until 6pm, as long as you're OK with the hunger.0
