Verify your food values!!

My husband and I wanted a Costco frozen yogurt for dessert so we looked at the values on MFP to see if we could "afford" one after dinner. My husband asked me to look at the chocolate dipped ice cream bar and became very excited when it was only 250 or so calories. I noticed that no one had confirmed this amount so I did a search on-line and found multiple sites(Calorie King included) that showed the ice cream bar at Costco to be 870 calories!! :noway: I'm not sure if someone got some bad information, is trying to fool themselves or trying to mess with others but I wanted to warn others. If it 1) seems to good to be true and 2) isn't confirmed at least a few times, try and do a search yourself to verify the info!

870 calories is crazy high! Haagen daz chocolate dipped bars are like 290-310 calories! How big is the costco one??????

Have you tried skinny cow ice cream???? They are very yummy and much more calorie affordable.

The nonfat frozen yogurt there is still a good deal that whole cup is like 300 calories. and I personally think its better than the chocolate dipped ice cream bar. So smooth and creamy.

Agree on the yogurt. I've never liked the ice cream bars but was shocked to find such a large discrepancy reported on MFP. And yes, I am addicted to Skinny Cow!
