can the wrong kinds of food cause anxiety? or too little? or too much?

Also really hungry at the moment. But I want to lose weight, 6 pounds for February. Which is possible if I eat the amount that I have set at. But is it worth my sanity?

Sanity is very important. Take care of yourself.

Your ticker says you want to lose a total of 23 lb, have 14 to go, and you think it's healthy & a resonable goal to lose 6 lb in 4 weeks???
    No.
With so little to lose (if your goal weight is healthy, which we don't know, but is in question) a reasonable rate of loss would be no more than 0.5 lb per week AT MOST.
1.5 for the month would be about right.

Things with caffine can cause you to be jittery.
Being mentally unbalanced to begin with could cause you to develop unhealthy attitudes toward food & weight loss, which could manifest as anxiety.

Why is your goal so aggressive, when you have so little to lose? You're hungry because it is set so.
  • Darn, I kind of figured this. I just get inpatient with the whole process...

For the most part, now that I started to noticeably lose weight, I just can't believe how big I was to begin with... :(

Take care of your mental health. No weight, no body, no type of food is worth feelings of anxiousness. Eat a healthy amount of food and try to live actively and you will hit your goal. Don't starve yourself. Don't talk yourself down. Don't look back and think 'my gosh is that how I used to look?!'. Look back and think 'I've come a long way, I can do this'. Lose the last weight slowly and wisely and it will stay off. It won't if you start under-eating. So much for my experienced-based advice ;) .
