Percentage of Protein, Fat, Carb

I am about 15lbs over my ideal weight. I have heard that the Medifast plan works very well by incorporating High Protein, Low Carb. I understand that your body can't pull from the carbs, so it burns fat for energy. So, assuming I understand that all correctly, what percentage should be protein/carb/fat? It is SO hard getting enough protein in the day!
